Green Hands proprietor Naomi Andersson, started selling her homemade cuticle oil in 2006. Clients at fairs and festivals, and at the Green Hands Nail Studio would present her with peeling, chipping and weakened nails; the common factor in almost all cases was the use of strengtheners or nail polish that contained formaldehyde.
Armed with customers who needed to strengthen their nails. With the help of a friend who introduced her to aromatherapy, Naomi set off to develop a product herself. The recipe is of course a closely guarded secret. It works on the common principle in aromatherapy; the blend of oils is more potent than the individual ingredients. They work together to nourish the nail, de-stress and give nails greater flexibility.
