A
very effective moisturising product created for women whose skin tends to be
oily and who are keen to balance it towards a more normal skin type. Works well to regulate the production of sebum and minimises
the appearance of large pores.
Organic Rosehip oil is high in essential fatty acids, namely
oleic, linoleic, and linolenic. They are called essential because our body is
not able to reproduce them. Rosehip seed oil is also high in vitamin A and
retinoic acid, a natural constituent similar to Retin-A, but without the
negative side effects. Retinoic acid was initially Introduced for the treatment
of acne, however, it is now used widely for sun damage. Retinoic acid also
markedly improves the complexion by reducing fine lines minimising pore size
& improving pigmentation and fine texture of the skin
Organic Thistle oil is an excellent source of omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids as a ‘dry’ thin plant oil, it should be easily absorbed and non comedogenic. (pore blocking)
Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin and is important for the
production of new skin
and mucous membranes, Its’ role in relation to skin is as an antioxidant
to protect cell membranes from lipid peroxidation and to regulate the level
of keratinisation of the skin - a deficiency can lead to the appearance of
hard, dry, scaly skin.
