Active ingredients & benefits to the skin:
Apple Extract
Contains an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA), which refines and rejuvenates the skin, works as an exfoliant. It is best known for its moisturising and anti-aging properties – making it perfect for dry or mature skin. It helps to maintain the skin’s youthful elasticity
Green Clay
Clay is rich in minerals and active enzymes. It stimulates the circulation, removes dead skin cells and helps to draw out toxins. It also helps to tone and strengthen the connective tissues. Green clay is excellent for oily and problem skin types
Hemp Oil
Good source of GLA. Deficiencies in GLA can cause dryness, loss of suppleness and wrinkling. With regular use the oil can help slow down the effects of skin aging and leave the skin smooth, soft and moisturised. Therefore it is ideal for mature skin, eczema, psoriasis and very dry skin. It is an excellent oil for all skin types including oily as it will not clog pores.
Jojoba oil
It softens, protects, improves suppleness and helps the skin to hold moisture. It has antibacterial and antifungal properties. Helping to moisturise dry skin but also balancing the over-abundance of oil in oilier skins.
Juniper Essential Oil
Juniper has antiseptic, astringent, diuretic and detoxifying properties. It is an excellent oil for fluid retention, obesity and cellulite. It is very good in the treatment of clogged, oily, blackhead and acne prone skin.
May Chang Essential Oil
Also known as Litsea Cubeba. It has a lovely fresh, uplifting lemon scented aroma. It is excellent in the treatment of oily skin, acne and spots due to its antiseptic properties.
Papaya Extract
It is excellent in stabilising oily skin & working as an exfoliant on dry areas. Papaya also is often used in skin products for the purpose of a natural ‘lift’ & rejuvenation of the skin. Papaya contains Vitamin A, a property that benefits skin repair through increasing the rate of new cell formation. Vitamin C is also an anti-oxidant with wonderful proteins for smoother, softer skin.
