meet a strict criteria. Firstly It has to rate highly with our customers, give
incredible results and be cost effective... So without further ado this weeks
worthy winner is... The Secret by 
The Look: The product
comes in a nifty simplistic stylish little bottle that would look great on any
dressing table.
Ingredients: The 'Secret'
recipe as you would expect is a power pack of key anti- ageing ingredients.
Most worthy of note are : Vitamin E is an antioxidant,
which tackles free radical damage to the skin (sun light and environmental
pollutant damage), stimulates the blood circulation and regulates the skin’s
elasticity. Rosehip Oil a luxurious
oil, which is very effective for cell and tissue regeneration. It is a good
source of essential fatty acids, particularly omega 3, which helps to lock
moisture to the skin. Rosehip oil also contains vitamin A, C and E, making it a
fantastic healing oil and great for a range of skin conditions, such as: scars,
acne, eczema, psoriasis, scalds, burns, skin over-exposed to sunlight and skin
pigmentation. It also helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles, especially around
the eyes and mouth. Apricot Oil this
is mild oil, tolerated by most people, especially those with sensitive,
inflamed, dry or mature skin. It enhances skin elasticity. Jojoba Oil softens skin protects, improves
suppleness and helps the skin to hold moisture. It has antibacterial and
anti-fungal properties, so great at keeping blemishes at bay. Penetrates dry
skin nicely but also balances the over-abundance of oil in oilier skins types. Hemp
Oil is a great source of GLA.
Deficiencies in GLA can cause dryness, loss of suppleness and wrinkling. With
regular use the oil can help slow down the effects of skin ageing and leave
nourished and healthy. Therefore it is ideal for mature skin, eczema, psoriasis
and very dry skin. It is excellent oil for all skin types including oily as it
will not clog pores.
Where to use: This oil
performs brilliantly on any part of the body, but best of all works wonderfully
well as an oil to apply to the face neck & décolletage at night time, to
allow the superb ingredients to work their magic while you sleep.
Value for money: At £15.99 the product is well priced, from personal
experiences and feedback we that with daily use on the neck face &
décolletage the bottle will last you approx 2months minimum. So if you
break that down is just over 25 and 1/2 pennies a go ! A very worthwhile in
investment in your face we think!
Anything else: It's
worth mentioning that this products works wonderfully for Eczema & psoriasis
sufferers, some users having reported great results at clearing sore
patches.
How to use: simply pour approx 4
drops (per area) into the palm of your hands, press together and massage into
the face. Spend a little time doing this as it will ensure the ingredients
penetrate the dermis and absorb all the goodness, thus maximising results.
Don’t be afraid to play with quantities, listen to your skin, if the product
sinks in quickly and leaves no trace then you may need a little more, however,
if the product is sitting on top of the like a mini oil slick then you've
applied to much. If you want to ease yourself into it, half the quantities and
use in conjunction with your existing moisturiser. We like to get both in the
palm of the hand, rub hands together and massage into face.
